Grand Master Han is a respected member of the Martial Arts Society. He served on the Board of Directors for the Korean Tae Kwon Do Federation in its early days and helped design the Palgue forms presently used by the World Tae Kwon Do Federation and was inducted into the Texas Karate Hall of Fame in 2000.

Grandmaster Han has served as a Special Tactics Instructor for the Korean Intelligence Agency, was called to train the United States 7th Army Infantry Division from 1970 to 1972 in hand to hand combat and served as close combat instructor for the United States 2nd Army Infantry Division from 1972 to 1976 and has recently been requested to again develop a close combat program for the US Army to utilize in combat around the world. 

He has attained a 9th Dan in Youn Wha Ryu, 8th dan in Hwarang-Do, 8th dan in Hapkido, 7th dan in Kendo, 5th dan in Kung Fu, 4th dan in Judo and has mastered 24 weapons including rope, throwing stars, double sticks, short stick, six foot staff, cane, tonfa, sai and nunchuka.
